Deine Aufgaben im Team
- Administration and management of data platform in Azure cloud, ensuring high availability, performance and security
- Follow best practices and implement cost-saving strategies to maintain optimal Azure usage
- Participation in on-call rotations for after-hours support is required
- Take the lead on administering the Cloudera Apache open-source stack within the Azure environment.
- Planning and executing updates and upgrades to the data platform
- Strong collaboration with and support of the Data Engineering and Data Warehouse team.
Unsere Erwartungen an Dich
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related field is required
- 3-5 years of experience as an Azure cloud administrator (or similar cloud experience)
- Provision of virtual machines, manage related resources like disks and virtual networks, and handle user administration and RBAC configurations
- Experience with big data and event streaming solutions
- Familiarity with modern data architectures (data lake, data mesh, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience with Cloudera Apache stack is a plus
- Experience in database administration, particularly covering SQL Server (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS), is beneficial
- Strong fluency in written and spoken English
